Hi, I'm Sammie, I'm 22 and I'm from Essex.

I'm in charge of scheduling the production throughout, I also help manage the director and crew on set to make sure everything is running on time and smoothly. 

I find being a 1st AD is a really good challenge for me and keeps me involved in all aspects of production to make sure it all comes together on set, it's a great way to be able to understand all aspects of production. 

My favourite film is Little Miss Sunshine (Valerie Faris and Johnathan Dayton, 2006). 

Outside of Uni, I love to just relax and read or play games.

Favourite horror film: Hereditary (Ari Aster, 2018)

Yang Zhen Camera Operator 大家好，我是来自中国的小伙儿GIN子，22年前在江苏呱呱坠地，很开心在这儿与大家相识。 Hello, my name is Gin, I'm 22 and I'm from Jiangsu, China . My role is to follow camera scripts, choose appropriate equipment and lens, shoot scenes based on the director’s vision.  I’m passionate about bringing the textual script to visual motion picture creatively and I enjoy the process of collaborating with the crew during production.  My favourite films are The Graduate (Mike Nichols, 1967) and Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino, 1994).  Outside of film, I enjoy taking pictures and helping my friends shoot their project.
